Prima Marketing!!! My Addiction

I started buying and receiving Prima Marketing products for trade show and design work when they first started.  I love the variety of styles and colors of flowers.  They fit my ever changing expression when designing art.

So, I was sent flowers, papers, and some rub offs.   I  lost my contact so I just started buying their amazing products! They were the perfect backdrops, focal points, and accents for my creations.  I have been happy to have some published and I will continue to work with their products for publication!

I found a new stencil I just adore.  It is a stencil (12x12) with a guitar and many words to use together or separately.  I am working on a canvas right now and will post when it is finished.

I am enjoying the growth of Prima's product line and so excited with all the wonderful new tools to play with!  To me a tool is anything from paper, stamps, dies, embellishments like flowers, and such.  Other type tools I use are scissors, brushes, inks, paints, etc.

Be Watching for my New Prima Marketing ART - coming soon!!!

RubberStampMadness Article

I think I forgot to post my art for RubberStampMadness that was published in the Spring addition.

It was for their house challenge.

What I like about RSM is that when they are going to publish your work, they do an in-depth study as to how I created the art, my inspiration, feelings, and expressions that go with it.  Most of my art has an expression or theme expressed in it.  It might be subliminal, or something I really want to put into my art whether whimsical or a statement.

Thank you RubberStampMadness for publishing art in a way that steps outside the box.

Artistcellar's Pocket Stencils!!

Artistcellar has developed a series of stencils called "Pocket Stencils!"  I am so in love with these little gems, and want MORE designs to come out in this size.   I was looking for something just like this as I tend to use parts and bits of stencils instead of the whole stencil.  That is for patterns - BUT - I wanted tons of words too, and these words are fabulous!!

These are sold in the sets listed below, the set coming with a binder ring to keep your stencils all together and organized!  Just flip and use the one you'd like.

*  Mini Steampunk
* Create-Believe-Trust-Seek
* Mini Virtues
* Faith-Hope-Charity-Grace
* Chakras

There was a blog hop which I am coming in at the tail end because I was dealing with kidney stones and a kidney infection......

IT's NOT TOO LATE - Comment Below and Win a Set of these Stencils!!!!

The above piece was created with the spirit within.  I so love what all religions offer and inspiration that comes from quotes.

I used a stenciled piece I had that was done with one of the other fabulous Artistcellar stencils, then added to the design.  The word "seek" was raised using embossing paste.  other words stenciled.  The background paper from BoBunny's Summer Line expresses the idea of growth and transformation through the representation of butterflies.  A Buddha was also collaged.  Many mixed media techniques utilized to express what I wanted to design.

I did one more art piece that clearly shows one of the Chakra stencils and how beautiful they look.

I was so excited when these stencils were revealed, even if you do not use them directly for what they were made for, the designs fit so many themes!  I am off to play more with my stencils.
